Unconditional Love Unconditional love means loving your child no matter what. It is the most important part of a strong parent-child relationship.

How to Show Unconditional Love:

• Love your child for who they are, not just what they do. Tell them often that you love them.

• Say kind and positive words. Encourage your child and praise their efforts.

• Notice your child’s strengths. Focus on what they do well, not their mistakes.

• Be gentle when correcting. Speak kindly even when you need to guide them.

• Keep your child safe and happy. Make home a calm and caring place for their body, heart, and mind.
